Managing multiple stores
How multiple stores work under one /tools account: switching the active store, keeping feeds and Feed Health Scores separate, and how per-store billing works.
One /tools login can manage as many stores as you run. Each store has its own connection, its own enriched feed, its own Feed Health Score and its own £89/month subscription, and they never mix. You switch between them with the store picker in the app, and everything you see updates to the store you've selected.
One account, many stores
Plenty of merchants run more than one storefront: separate brands, separate regions, or a main store and a trade site. /tools is built for that: one login manages all of them, and each store stays completely self-contained.
Every store you add gets its own:
- Connection: Shopify, a feed URL, or CSV uploads, chosen per store.
- Enriched feed and feed URL: a stable serving URL unique to that store, which you point that store's Merchant Center at.
- Feed Health Score: scored independently, so one store's gaps never mask another's.
- £89/month subscription: billed per store, so you only pay for the stores you're actually running.
Nothing is shared or pooled across stores. That separation is the point: it's what guarantees the right feed reaches the right Merchant Center, and the right bill covers the right store.
Switching the active store
At any moment you're working in one active store: the store picker in the app shows which. Everything on screen, from the Feed Health Score to enrichment results to billing, belongs to that store.
To move to another store, choose it from the picker. The app reloads so every screen refreshes to the store you selected: this is intentional, and it's what guarantees no data from the store you just left carries over. It takes a second, and then you're fully in the new store's context.
A good habit when you manage several: confirm the active store in the picker before you run enrichment or copy a feed URL, so a change always lands on the store you intended.
Deep dive How stores stay isolated
Under the bonnet, every action you take in /tools is scoped to the active store. When you switch stores, the app doesn't just swap a label: it resets its state entirely so that no cached data, no in-flight request, and no feed URL from the previous store can bleed into the new one. That's why switching triggers a full reload rather than a soft in-page swap.
The same isolation runs all the way through. Each store's connection, enriched feed, score history and change log are stored against that store alone. Each store carries its own subscription, so pausing, cancelling or updating billing on one store has no effect on the others: see Subscriptions and billing. And access is granted per store: a team member you invite to one store sees only that store until you add them to another. The result is that running five stores under one account behaves exactly like running five independent accounts, without five logins to juggle.
Adding a new store
Adding a store is the same flow as your first one: create the store, choose its connection, map its fields, and run enrichment. Each new store starts its own Feed Health Score from its first run and gets its own feed URL to hand to Merchant Center.
There's no limit designed in: add as many stores as you run. Each simply carries its own £89/month subscription.
Working with a team
If other people help run your stores, invite them per store rather than sharing a login. That keeps access tidy (each person sees only the stores they should) and keeps the audit trail clean. How invitations and permissions work is covered in Team members and roles.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate login for each store?
No. One /tools account holds all your stores. You add each store once, then switch between them with the store picker, with no logging out and back in.
Can a store share a feed or a subscription with another?
No, and that's deliberate. Each store has its own connection, its own enriched feed URL, its own Feed Health Score and its own £89/month subscription. Keeping them separate is what stops one store's data or billing leaking into another's.
Does switching stores lose my place?
Switching reloads the app so every screen reflects the store you picked, and nothing from the previous store lingers. You return to that store exactly as you left it; the switch only changes which store you're looking at, not its state.
Who can access which store?
Access is managed per store. You invite team members to the specific stores they should see. See Team members and roles for how that works.
